“...because I got a cavity from your sweeeeet riiiiide !”
GT2 RS > all else.
Until it gets here though, I’ll take a Turbo S Stinger GT3 gen.2 by TopCar.
But I’m gonna be all Splooge McDuck when the GT2 RS does get here!

“Are you tired?”
“Yes.”
“Oh. Well then you should probably lie down and have a rest.”

Perfect. Just needs a set of HREs with about an inch less diameter.

Nitrous oxide. Good for more than just sedating patients.

I consider myself quite the Porsche fan, I love the design principle (aesthetically and engineering wise). I love the real racing influence and driver focused purpose behind the design of their cars. The one Porsche that never caught my fancy was the 911 GT 2. I’m not sure what purpose it serves in the line-up other than that to act as a halo car when there aren’t any super cars in production. True, it’s very fast in a straight line and in acceleration, by no means lacking in the handling department but I’ve always felt (never having seen, let alone driven, either car) that the GT3 better served the driving and racing spirit of Porsche. Can someone enlighten an armchair enthusiast about this matter?

“Is your refrigerator running?”
“Yes”
“Oh. Well that’s good then.”

For whatever reason the 911 Turbo has this good-guy halo around it while the GT3 has the bad-boy aura. Everyone can’t help but be drawn to the GT3 models even though on paper the Turbo models do everything the same or better.
For me personally, the GT2 served as a reminder that the 911 (especially the Turbo models) is a nutcase, a bag of cats, batshit insane in everyway but where’s the evening dress and keeps that car below the surface. It’s like finding out the class valedictorian is an underground MMA champion with a few rumors of homicides under its belt. It made the 911 a true exotic, and not just any exotic but something even more intense than a flagship Lamborghini. The only that keeps most people from buying 911s over the Maccas, Fezzas, or Lambos of the world is that the 911 is too...
...good.
You can’t tell me you don’t feel a different personality coming across from the car. There’s just something demented and self aware about it. I love it!!!

Thanks for the insight, you have a point it is definitely is a refined psycho. interesting I’m gonna think about this one more and see if I can understand my lack of interest. I admit the sound of the turbo at full throttle is compelling.
